Editorial Standards & Approach

A clinical reference is only as reliable as the process that produced it. This page explains exactly how MedSprint titles are built, reviewed, and maintained.

MedSprint Editorial

Publisher · Est. 2026 · Worldwide Coverage

MedSprint is a specialist clinical publishing imprint focused on emergency and acute medicine. Our titles are authored and reviewed to the standard you would expect from a major medical publisher — with the bedside utility that major publishers routinely miss.

All MedSprint guides are available as instant digital downloads, accessible worldwide in every country, on every device. No shipping. No waiting. Open your PDF within 60 seconds of purchase.

The editorial process

01 Guideline mapping
Every chapter begins with a structured review of current international guidelines. RCEM, ESC, NICE, AHA/ACC, BTS, and ERC are cross-referenced before any prose is written. No recommendation goes uncited.
02 Bedside-first structure
Content is then structured for rapid retrieval under pressure. Tables before prose. Action steps before rationale. Red flags always surfaced first. The goal is a 60-second answer, not a 60-page chapter.
03 Clinical review
Every manuscript is reviewed by practising clinicians in the relevant specialty — emergency physicians, cardiologists, and acute medicine specialists — before publication.
04 Annual revision + interim updates
All titles are reviewed and updated annually. When a major guideline changes between annual editions, we update the affected sections and notify all registered readers. Guidelines move — our titles move with them.
